Why in the world would you believe him? You can't be found guilty and sentenced unless you are tried or you plead guilty. There are no reports that he was tried. Some of your above comments are unfortunately true. However a note proclaiming innocence to a would be investigative reporter scarcely compels a reader to a firm conviction of innocence.

It’s usually handed to him by the court. If you go to jail in Cambodia there will be a paper.
