Bars with bands

This is the part of the forum where we discuss Cambodia's nightlife! While most bars, nightclubs, pubs, beer gardens, and hostess bars are in Phnom Penh, we discuss the Cambodian nightlife across all of Cambodia, including Siem Reap, Kampot, and Sihanoukville. The main nightlife areas in Phnom Penh are on Street 136, Street 130, Street 110 and Street 51, but there are other party spots that aren't girlie bars where expats, tourists, and locals drink until the sun comes up. Feel free to post specials and promotions that relate to nighttime fun!

Not my first choice but some is okay. They do have cover bands playing classic rock. At least they say they do.

Oscar's on 104 have a local rock band on most nights after 10pm. Not sure about Oscars 51. Slur Bar on 172 has pretty good music fairly regularly. Not sure which nights. A Filiipino couple play 60's and 70's music at Black Cat on Mondays and Thusdays 7-10 pm.

Slur bar has some great bands regularly, not normally rock n roll though. Oscars 51, now renamed the Muffdiver bar, used to have live rock n roll cover bands most nights, not sure about now though.

Be nice if there was a Blues club. 8) Memphis would be a good name for one. What do they have?

I think Memphis has closed. It's certainly for sale.

There's tons of music around town. Slur has plenty of Rock n Roll. So do Sharky and Oscar 51 (Oscar Rock Cafe).
