Crazy Foreigner in Kampot Threatening to Burn Places Down

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

The people don't care. They don't deal with problems properly. They have no pride in law and order. It's a bad mindset that is holding back the Country and plays into the hands of thugs and criminals and ruins it for the good people.
Maybe people have no pride in law and order because there is no law and order?
There is when dollar bills get flashed!
well, that is hardly law or order, it is capitalism
Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticise them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes

Just a few decades ago, people got sick of massive corruption and decided to usher in law and order (albeit with a severe ideological bent). Had the effect of shortening lifespans dramatically. (A quick paraphrase of a complex time.)

Safer for them to not care and live with the corruption and poo.

I'm no Cambodian history expert, but that seems to be the weirdest paraphrase (summary) of what happened I have ever heard.

In which specific manner does this address the facts that country is packed to brim with degenerates and dregs of society with frequent deportations rubbish dumps and warm wafts of poo Stinking odors wherever the nose can inhale?
