Dreadlocked backpackers act like twats on Koh Rong

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Are you really arguing that all Rasta men and by extension all those black people and indeed white people who were dreads are antisemitic? Or is it just a hairstyle that people can choose to wear and are you just more than a little bit racist?
Before anybody kow-tows to lawyer-inspired rabidly-PC culture, be aware that Arabs are-Semites.

From wiki:

' In the racialist classifications of Carleton S. Coon, the Semitic peoples were considered to be members of the Caucasian race, not dissimilar in appearance to the neighbouring Indo-European, Northwest Caucasian, and Kartvelian-speaking peoples of the region.[10] As language studies are interwoven with cultural studies, the term also came to describe the religions (ancient Semitic and Abrahamic) and Semitic-speaking ethnicities as well as the history of these varied cultures as associated by close geographic and linguistic distribution.[11]

Some recent genetic studies have found (by analysis of the DNA of Semitic-speaking peoples) that they have some common ancestry. Although no significant common mitochondrial results have been found, Y-chromosomal links between Semitic-speaking peoples of the Middle East like Arabs, Jews, Mandaeans, Samaritans, and Assyrians have shown links, despite differences contributed from other groups (see Y-chromosomal Aaron).

A DNA study of Jews and Palestinian Arabs (including Bedouins) found that these were more closely related to each other than to neighboring Arabs.[12][13]

Genetic studies indicate that modern Jews (Ashkenazi, Sephardic and Mizrahi specifically), Levantine Arabs, Assyrians, Samaritans, Maronites, Druze, Mandaeans, and Mhallami, all have an ancient indigenous common Near Eastern heritage which can be genetically mapped back to the ancient Fertile Crescent, but often also display genetic profiles distinct from one another, indicating the different histories of these peoples.[14]'

An anti-Semite, is, therefore, by definition, anybody who hates Semites.

A lot of Semites who try to apply this racial grouping only to their clique for political gain, fall into this category.

They are opportunistic, lying racists.

OK, that's been cleared up, can the rastafari get showers?
or as Damian Marley sung...
Rasta works a manifest, and it a blossom and a bloom
Nature always run its course, the tide is rising with the moon
It only takes a spark to put a fire to the fume
What is hidden in the dark shall be revealed so very soon
Tell Pharaoh free the prisoners from the dungeons and the doom
Tell the youths fi natty dread, and Babylon put dem in a platoon
The trials and the perils deeper than the blue lagoon
Dem no waan fi know dem history, you no see say dem a goon

Jah gave Moses 10 commandments upon two tablets of stone
Led Israel out of Egypt and then promised dem a home
Samson slew the Philistines with a donkey's jawbone
And David slew Goliath with a two two way chrome
Blessed be the man weh walketh not inna a war zone
Blessed be the man weh hair natty, nappy, and grown (Natty + Nappy are natural dreadlocks)
Blessed be the herbs weh keep we higher, nappy, and stone
Fire fi a man weh sit down inna Babylon's throne
Curious woman go a dance and lef' dem pickney dem alone
Cannot take care of yourself, the Gideon ready inna Rome
Population under pressure, still dem have Mormon's and clowns
And all the wasted love that has been lost has not been found

Most of you sniveling old farts are probably bald and jealous. I know I am jealous but not sniveling. I would like to visit when the crowd thins out and the room rates drop...and not when the boats don't operate because of rough water.

Actually, it's funny you should ask.
Someone has just asked this question on another thread, and posted a new thread asking just that question.
Maybe look there?
