More Tourists Exploring Kampot Caves

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

Kampot: This cave in Kbal Romeas mountain in Kampot province is one of the longest of 15 caves in the area, and is also the most frequented by foreigners.

According to Chea Sopheap, a 22 years old regional tour guide, there are more and more foreigners, both men and women, who are getting off the beaten track to come and visit the Kbal Romeas cave. It is 1 kilometer long, so it takes about 1 hour or so to explore inside the cave, and rock-climbing on the site has become very popular.
