Boys soccer team trapped in flooded cave.

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

Sedate the two teams and bring them to play the finals inside the cave. It'll be great TV. We can have Dennis Rodman kneeling outside because of some bullshit and Donald Trump taking credit for the whole thing.

Truly, it takes in a lot of courage to handle a situation like this. When you are trapped in a situation like this, you tend to lose all hope and you go through an immense physical and mental pressures that you feel as if all the worst things are happening all in one go. But, the boys and the coach seems to be so really strong as they somehow managed to survive around a week without any food and sunlight. And now that 12 of them have been successfully rescued its an immense relief to not just their families but also the entire world who was praying for their safe rescue. Let's hope that the remaining 4 kids along with their coach reunite with their families soon.

Sounds like they gave the boys some Valium to keep them calm...

Thai Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha was asked today about whether the kids were sedated before the rescue effort, as Khao Sod reported.

The PM said "who the hell would give that to the kids?" but said the boys had been given anti-anxiety drugs to calm their nerves before the perilous mission.

"I also take when I am shooting," he added - presumably to steady his own nerves.

These reports have not been confirmed by Fairfax Media.

ALL 12 boys are free from the Thai cave in a modern day miracle. Every member of the Wild Boars football team that were

trapped in an underground cave are now free, ending a complicated rescue mission that has captivated the world.

It is understood the team’s coach is still at the third chamber where rescuers have set up a base camp, but will be coming out soon. He will be followed by a doctor and several Thai Navy SEALs that have accompanied the team.

Just wait till the families get the bill for the rescue operation.
