Re: Stop and Search for Explosives in Sihanoukville Today
This comes across as very strange to me. Do they often do searches for EXPLOSIVES ? Kind of rubs me as being somewhat funny.
Only two things I can thing of are "fishing" or some kind of tip off on something doing with the upcoming elections.
** note for the mongers out there..... it was "fishing", as in to catch fish.
*** Apologies for my poor English (tired), bring on the grammer Nazies .....

Re: Stop and Search for Explosives in Sihanoukville Today
For some reason, the police call these roadblocks an Arms and Explosives Search. They are looking for anything illegal. They do this from time to time in Sihanoukville, but they may be more frequent this month.
It is an occasion to show the population that the police and authorities are doing their job.
