Friends are looking for their Swedish expat buddy Kalle Niemela, who was last seen in either Phnom Penh or Battambang. They seemed concerned, and rightly so, as he's been spotted begging for 1,000 Riel off fellow expats.

If you come across him, let him know people are looking for him.

'I saw him on Saturday in Phnom Penh - I actually had met him in Battambang a few weeks earlier. He said his wife had kicked him out and taken his house etc. and he had been down the coast. Said he was off to Finland tomorrow, however he did first approach to borrow 1000 Riel off my friend, which was an odd amount. Said the ATMs weren't working (I dont dispute this as a lot were out that day). Bought him a beer. Then had to go elsewhere. He seemed ok, and as I say, was heading back to Finland.
