Oh, and the United States of Assholes 'low tolerance' is known for a very positive effect on crime rates, right?
Oh, and in the United States of Assholes no-one has been killed (in a police shooting or death chamber) innocently, right?

I think the guy was trying to compliment the Cambodian police not slam them, lighten up.

I could interpret this two ways.

The cops show up, show great restraint, allow themselves to get shot at, allow themselves to always get stabbed at, before having to arrest him.

The cops show up, are afraid of this raving meth head, cower as the meth head shoots at them, cower even further as the meth head tries to stab them, then someone forces them to do their job (protect the public) and arrest said meth head.

Which Khmer police do you believe were at the scene last night?

Which Khmer police would you want coming if there is a raving degenerate shooting at you and threatening you with a knife?
