i actually had good luck with the samsung service center (monivong across from pp tower).

My note pro 12.2 tablet had the infamous loose battery connector to motherboard that plagued that model -- resulting in flashing screens, phone and wifi shutting off -- and random reboots.

i walk in .. maybe 5 minute wait -- asked if had warranty (it did not) they took it into the back room and fixed it for me. told me i would need a new motherboard for a permanent fix but but they could manually reconnect and it should hold for awhile. lasted 4 months then i had to go back and do again --- still better than replacing the entire board.

in my experience it helps if you can engage one of the techs directly as they like to show off their ability to repair. some of the cs girls can be a bit lazy and just want to take it and your phone number and call later --- but if you can politely push for a tech to look at it while you are there you might get better results.
