Nigerian REMIGIUS OBIORA UDUCHUKWU Detained for Public Disturbance and No Passport

Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: A 45-year-old Nigerian, REMIGIUS OBIORA UDUCHUKWU, was detained at 6:30 pm on July 05, 2018, for disturbing public order.

The department of investigations and procedures (immigration) took a Nigerian man from Sras Chork police post for questioning and to verify his documents. He arrived in Cambodia in 2010 through Phnom Penh International Airport. While he has been living in Cambodia, he has no job, no place to stay and no passport.

After questioning, he was taken to the Department of Immigration to follow the legal procedure.

The competent authorities will be investigating this matter further, unfortunately the perpetrator has been uncooperative so far. Or something along those lines. 8-)

Seems the Nigerians are making a bit of a fightback having been usurped recently by the Chinese as public nuisance number one.

Haven’t seen any mainland Chinese reported as no passport, no visa, no place to stay (for years). Nigerians dominating this field by a long shot.
