What a cheap, nasty, vindictive, horrible, way to leave a road you are already leaving. talk about burning bridges.
Re: Aussie Torches Dwelling After Argument With Landlord
With the availability of cheap rental apartments in PP, he probably could have found another one within 5 minutes walking distance if he liked the area so much.
I'm not making excuses for him, setting fire to a building, especially here in PP where fire regulations don't seem to have been considered when most of the older buildings were being built, is reckless and could easily end in people being killed, but I wonder if there's more to this story than meets the eye. Maybe the landlord refused to give him his deposit back? (Not that that would justify setting fire to it)
There must be more to it than just not renewing his contract, unless he was really vindictive and twisted.

The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never allow the dumb ones to lead the pack.

Anything's possible, but as you say, nothing justifies setting a fire.xandreu wrote: ↑Fri Jun 29, 2018 6:51 pm With the availability of cheap rental apartments in PP, he probably could have found another one within 5 minutes walking distance if he liked the area so much.
