Australian Save The Children social worker LAURA KNIGHT Dies in a Traffic Accident in Takeo, Cambodia

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

looking at the chassis and body they are both rotten as fuck.the structural integrity would have been compromised.
if the underneath is that rusty then so were the brake lines

shocking
Lack of due diligence then. Asset management.
a simple inspection would have had it condemned

Some press says the driver fell asleep.

Few vehicles sliding roof first into a tree at speed would protect those inside.

Not disputing that epidmiks. Our comments were more about the condition of the bus. I take your point though.
Despite what angsta states, it’s clear from reading through his posts that angsta supports the free FreePalestine movement.

Condolences to the family - losing a loved one is unjust, when the loved one is working in justice for others, doubly so.
Spoiler:
I covered what to hit and what not to hit in driver training for the ambulance service, and separately as a government employee required to drive in remote locations.

Rule number 1 (for urban driving, at least) - if you have to choose between hitting a tree or hitting a brick or concrete wall, hit the wall. Trees are hugely unforgiving.
