Australian Save The Children social worker LAURA KNIGHT Dies in a Traffic Accident in Takeo, Cambodia

Breaking news from Cambodia can be found here. CEO often finds Khmer news and translates it into English for our readers if it is interesting to expats, locals, Cambodians living abroad and anyone who wants to stay informed of the latest local and international news stories about Cambodia and our neighbors in South East Asia. There are many sources for Khmer news articles and they can all be found here in one place. Most of the media comes out of Phnom Penh, Siem Reap or Sihanoukville, but we cover national Cambodian news from all provinces.

because it is a completely cretinous thing to say on a thread like this. You always have to put your two cents in regardless of what the subject is. Here we have 4 people die and all you can do is have your mind recall some other Australian lady who briefly volunteered at FI and join the dots as if it were the same person? your mind must be addled on an afternoons drinking. what was your point? that if it was that lady from FI it was ok or you just thought you'd denigrate the memory of a lady who by all accounts seems to have done a wonderful amount of good work in Cambodia?
Show me where I suggested it was the same person.

I asked if it was the same NGO.

Can you tell the difference?

I suggest you get your rabies shot and read what I posted. I did not post what you suggest I posted.

This is what I posted:

'Ah, now i get it..that [Mod edit] Am I right?'

Now, please, explain HOW you get that I suggested it was the same person. And how an innocent question denigrates the memory of nay other person.Apart from the rabies. You have the reading comprehension skills of a slow, non-native 5 year old. Or an agenda.

Fine, that's all that was needed, that's what someone else did, too. Just an innocent question, no need for anyone to go crazy, nothing bad implied about any person, as most can see.

RTA fatalities Australia 2017 = 1,247
RTA fatalities Cambodia 2017 = 1,780 (KT article)

Given the population differences involved roads are probably more dangerous than drugs over here.

Fours staff members of Save Children in Cambodia (an NGO) were killed in a traffic accident in Takeo province on Friday, June 22. Seven other passengers were injured and are receiving medical attention.

According to the National Police one of the victims was an Australian.

The mini bus was on its way from Kep to Kampot province. It is reported that it was travelling at high speed when it swerved and hit a mango tree. It came to rest in a roadside ditch. The drive(sic) fled the scene.
The provincial police indicate that the driver showed signs of fatigue while driving.
