Re: Administration/Moderation Concerns?
Actually my post was intended primarily for gm. As for people's attitudes and/or reactions to racism, the shallower the gene pool the more excessive the bitter hate which tries to pass itself off as righteous indignation. As you also know the world is full of these intellectual wading pools. à
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.

Re: Administration/Moderation Concerns?
LoL, I don't make the rules (and rarely play by them), but I would assume calling Jews 'dreidel spinners' is pretty far from politically correct.
You just brought back another childhood memory. I was actually homeschooled for a year. Well, almost a year, and the really fucked up part is that it wasn't even at my home. If memory serves correct, I went to another friend's 'homeschool' because we moved cities towards the end of an academic year, and it seemed like the best option at the time, rather then get me in the proper school there for a couple months.
Anywho, one of their kids called me a 'bitch' and I must have told my mom and she talked to the homeschool teacher, the mom, about it. Her response was, 'What's wrong with calling your son a female dog?," and my mom's response was, "Well, I guess nothing, BITCH." That was my last day with those nutters, lol. OK, I don't think my mom actually said that, but what that other kid's mom said was true, and that was what my mom felt like saying.
And this was a city where I had to walk a mile to school (the next year) in the snow. Which reminds me of the first bully I had to stand up to. Some neighborhood fucker used to trip me up and be a dick to me with his buddies when I walked home. So one day I decided to place a lot of big sticks along my route. The next time he fucked with me I grabbed one of those sticks and went apeshit on him, breaking his hand. He was far from pleased about that, but nobody bothered me after that.
OK, no more gin & tonics for the General tonight.

When I click on the go to the last post button, I'm getting "No route found for "GET /topic20998.html&p=258741" (from "https://cambodiaexpatsonline.com/")" on home and work computers.

I think it only started today. A recent update maybe? I had another look. The mystery deepens. It's only on the "go to last post" arrow but not the "go to latest post arrow" which is identical and in the same spot.

That's confusing. Is there an arrow or no arrow?
There is some updates happening at the moment, so that's probably what it is. I'll get someone to check it out. Can you explain further (screen shot), and report back if it continues or even if it goes back to normal.

Ah, I get you. Yes, definitely started last night. If I recall, this exact same thing happened last time we updated the 'recent topics' a few months back.Heng Heng Heng wrote:I think it only started today. A recent update maybe? I had another look. I'll report it to the developer, as I believe they have to 'fix' it manually each time we do upgrades, as it's very customized for us, and a lot of things need a personal touch after the typical update/upgrade.
[And please be on the lookout for any other glitches or anything for the next day or two, as I think they still had a few more things to do, which could always lead to issues we have to identify and fix.]
