A truck load of buffalo arrested for not paying tax

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

13 June 2018
Bonteay Meanchey: On 12 June 2018, customs police detained a truck which delivered 40 buffaloes illegally from the Cambodian border to Vietnam through border Svay Rieng . The truck was driving along National road 5 when it was detained on June 12, on Teuk Thlar bridge, Serey Sophorn city, Bontey Meanchey.

The police said the buffaloes belong to a company, and they got detained because they didn't pay delivery tax. The driver and another staff member denied knowing anything about the tax, saying that they are just working for their salary.
