Re: Motorbike license
^^^^^^^^^^^
That sounds like good information for renewals whether with or without agency...altho, which agencies can do it?
In my case however, it's not a renewal...rather, it's a transfer of my existing home licence.. and according to Fourkinnel, i need to go to Ministry of Public Works for that.

Re: Motorbike license
It seems your staff must have been told porkies about the fees and processing times.cambo swa wrote: ↑Wed Jun 06, 2018 5:40 pm I received this just today and the source (my staff) have always been accurate on these matters. I am renewing my license, Category B, for the 7th time. Except this year there are significantly more requirements than in the past. Crazy stuff - 6 passport photos for a driving license. You don't need that for a passport of visa. Oh well, the times they are a changin'.
There are 2 options for renewal driving license :
1st option: Document needed are
1. The original Driving license from your home country
2. Cambodia driving license
3. Passport with valid visa – photocopies.
4. 6 passport photos
5. Residence certificate
6. Fee – 35 USD
This is important to note is the license owner must apply by themselves at the ministry of public work and transport. (5 days processing )
2nd option: Document needed are
1. The original Driving license from your home country
2. Cambodia driving license
3. Passport with valid visa – photocopies.
4. 6 passport photos
5. Fee 120 USD (the whole process will apply by the agency ) – 3-day processing.
Opt 1 Go to MPWT big bike licence, (not sure about car) around $10 done in 2 hours. Make sure you go early as staff have 2 hour lunch break around 11.30
The latest is this can now also be done at Aeon Mall 2
Opt 2. Some agency's are now charging $85 for the service of renewals, I guess others may try to charge $120. blatant rip off IMO! But if you out of PP maybe worth it to you.
This is renewals as you said. New applications might differ in price.
