Religion: concentrate on similarities, not differences
I came across this preparing a history lesson and learned a lot. It lists the similarities between Judaism and Islam. The intention of the site is that people should concentrate on how groups are similar, rather than different, in the hopes of fostering peace.

There is a lot of information, too much to post here, but I post this, about animal slaughter, very similar:

We are all people of the book - Jews, Muslims and Christians. It lists the similarities between Judaism and Islam.
I used to work in Aleppo, Syria and the downtown area had a mosque, a synagogue and a Catholic church. I'm guessing before the fucking Brits decided to hand Israel over to the Hebrews, Christians, Jews and Muslims lived in relative peace, each worshiping the same God of Abraham in their own way.
Anyway I've read the Quran, Old Testament and New Testament and the similarity that struck me was how Moses, Jesus and Muhammed each reacted to the divine in the same way - with total fear and trembling. Coming face to face with Holiness is a terrifying experience.
To gladly teach and gladly learn.
