PHNOM PENH - A group of Chinese tourists, three women and a man, came into Phnom Penh Central Police station to report a snatch and grab robbery on the evening on May 28.
The incident occurred at 9:10 pm on St 128, Phsar Thmey, Sangkat Phsar Thmey 1, Khan Daun Penh, when the group were walking back to their hotel after dinner. Two men, on a Honda Dream without number plates, approached the tourists, and before they had time to know what was happening, they snatched a handbag from one of the Chinese women and drove off. The bag contained around $100 and an iPhone 6.
The tourists have filed their complaint and are now waiting to hear that the police have caught the suspects.
