Kampong Speu: A 56 year old Australian man, BRUCE NOBLE, was quite badly injured in a motorbike accident at 11:05 am, on May 26 2018, on National Road 4, Somrong Tong district, Kampong Speu.

The cause of the accident has not been fully explained, but the Australian appears to have crashed the bike while driving, without the intervention of another vehicle. At this stage, it is not known if the accident was due to a fault of driver inattention, a medical problem, or mechanical failure.
According to local witnesses, BRUCE NOBLE was driving the Honda Click motorbike alone in the direction from east to west, when he suddenly lost control of the motorbike causing it to fall over and he was seriously injured. Passers-by saw the incident and contacted the authorities to call an ambulance. The victim was taken to the provincial hospital immediately.


The police went to check the scene of the accident, and have taken the victim's motorbike to keep at the police station waiting for the victim to come and get it.
