Introduce Yourself

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Now that you have 989 posts you can move on to the next stage.
Under your avatar, where its shows your total karma, you can click on that and see all the karma givers and any comments they made.

Ha! It took me a while to notice that and then I noticed all these random downvotes with messages like "Your mother sucks cocks in hell" etc. I didn't even notice because someone else usually upvotes it to zero!
I regularly downvote and upvote stuff myself because it's part of the functionality here. I've downvoted Beerinthemorning loads of times for repetitive and incoherent nonsense, but I've also upvoted him plenty of times when he made decent posts. I don't always agree with everything Boouleah says either for example but if he comes up with something I like or get a laugh out of I'll upvote him too.

Hi all, just signed up today. I'm in Thailand on a retirement visa and beginning to think I might be better off in Cambodia. I'm an American from California.

I get a lot of flattering messages too, but I they are so badly written I can't even understand more than 3 words. Some uneducated idiot, I assume. It's like a dog turd in the street. You just walk on by.

Hello, I am new in town and would like to garner some help in finding my way around. Specifically interested in fine dining. I would love to find an establishment with a wide range of red wines for myself and companion. I would like to start a topic on this as well at a later date if possible. Thanks and #ENJOY!
