Kampotian Leaves Door Unlocked Overnight; Robbed of Wallet & iPhone
Are people really leaving their doors unlocked in Cambodia because they feel they live in a "safe" neighborhood? I lived in a few safe neighborhoods back in the US and we almost always left the doors unlocked because it was a lot easier than us all keeping track of a bunch of keys, but even in retrospect, that was pretty stupid.
Just a few weeks ago a loving and committed French couple left their door unlocked because they thought it was safe, and a bar girl walked right into a bedroom and stole a wallet.
Leaving your door unlocked in Cambodia is like having a yard sale where the price of everything is FREE.

You should thank the guy for stealing your IPhone but ask for your wallet back. Then buy another brand that looks after its customers.

What is the meaning of ' Kampotian ' ? Someone from Kampot or tourist in Kampot? Where exactly did this incident(s) happen and hotel name ?General Mackevili wrote: ↑Sat May 19, 2018 1:18 pm Are people really leaving their doors unlocked in Cambodia because they feel they live in a "safe" neighborhood?
