No: That's why I'm asking. Some banks might. 😊

I think Maybank have more like 13 or more ATM 's in PP by counting them on their web site. Plus outlying areas like Takhmau They are trying to be one of the big players in Cambodia and are growing very fast.

Anyone got any more info on this?
https://www.ababank.com/

I opened an account some years back, mainly for the purpose of transferring monies from the UK.
Never had any problems. I found the bank staff very helpful.
Now I hear it is possible to send sterling direct and get the dollar rate at the time you make withdrawals in Cambodia.
Apparently, this cuts out the higher currency exchange rate charge, in the UK
Anyone with any info on this?
That would be an idea but transferring money from Uk bank to foreign bank usually incurs a transfer fee. Plus you may then be charged exchange fees?
I had written this somewhere on the site before I know. Halifax in the UK charges @Β£9 for any limit transfer fee to the ABA bank in Cambodia. The exchange rate fees where done before the money left the UK. And I think ABA charged a minimum amount.
But this is what I would like to know more about. It supposedly cuts out the high loss exchange rate Pound to dollar which before took place in the UK
Now I hear it is possible to send sterling (Pounds) direct and get the dollar rate at the time you make withdrawals in Cambodia.

You got that the wrong way around. They switched from Mastercard to Visa.
