Shopping for small, high-end gifts

Post by Dangerous Dave »

So tomorrow the girls at the restaurant next door and their mom are flying off to Australia to begin the next chapter of their lives, and everyone's pretty emotional about it -- notably me. I'd very much like to present them each with one more, this-time-really-nice gift, but I've made the cardinal mistake of visualizing the thing in my head before confirming that it can be gotten here: Since they're already laden with a lot of stuff, I'd like to get them little sparkly knick-knack / curio sorts of things, like a little tiny ceramic horse or elephant with rhinestones on it. Something that can be tucked in a carry-on, but which still says thanks for these last nine incredible months.

Anyone know where such items can be gotten? Aeon Mall perhaps -- and, if yes, then which store in particular?

I just checked their website and the "unique pieces" section fits my description *perfectly* -- so allow me to move the goal posts on you now by asking if there might be some less costly alternatives? By "curios" I was hoping for something more of the glass/ceramic/rhinestone pedigree, say $50-$75 USD? The family would never brook me buying real jewelry for the kids. :-)

You've been 'dating' a couple of sisters and their mother?

I can't help with the curios question...although I I've seen a Pandora - maybe try there.in case you don't know they sell charms for charm bracelets

Despite what angsta states, it’s clear from reading through his posts that angsta supports the free FreePalestine movement.
