If the embassies would keep up with the news, they would know that the alleged bombers have all been arrested or they are being closely monitored by the authorities, so we are safe as houses. Everything is under control.
Things that are more dangerous for foreigners over Khmer New Year include crazy drivers, bag-snatchers, and drinking local rice wine.
Meanwhile, what's new on the plot, and some analysis from the PPP:

Serey, who has been granted asylum in Denmark, was sentenced in absentia.

For some reason, the Thais have let the KNLF guy leave for Denmark instead of extraditing him to Cambodia.

Nothing about Stormy Daniels though.

28 April 2018. Sam Serey, who is wanted in Cambodia, has since flown to Denmark. Backstory:
Cambodia wants Thailand to hand over opposition figure

PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (AP) — A spokesman for the Cambodian government says it intends to seek the extradition from Thailand of the head of a shadowy anti-government organization who was convicted in absentia on terrorism charges in 2013.
Interior Ministry spokesman Khieu Sopheak said Thursday that his government is preparing an official request to Thailand to have it extradite Sam Serey, head of the Khmer National Liberation Front, once he finishes any jail term he serves there.
Sam Serey was reportedly detained in Thailand this week for overstaying his visa.
Khieu Sopheak said Sam Serey was sentenced by a Cambodian court in 2013 to nine years in prison. Prime Minister HE accused him of plotting bombings during this month's recent traditional New Year's celebration, but there were no incidents.

Thais sends Cambodian wanted by Phnom Penh back to Denmark
BANGKOK — The leader of a Cambodian anti-government group who was at risk of being extradited to his homeland for imprisonment said Friday he is safely back in Denmark, where he has had political asylum for seven years. Sam Serey, head of a fringe opposition group called the Khmer National Liberation Front, said by message that he was deported from Thailand on Friday morning after being arrested Wednesday for overstaying his visa. Cambodian authorities had said they would seek his extradition, but apparently did not make a formal request. A Cambodian court in 2016 sentenced Sam Serey in absentia to nine years in prison for allegedly planning terrorist acts.
