Is the Tonlie Sap next on the list
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

It'll be more difficult, but I guess they probably could sell the whole tonle sap lake once it's a barren wasteland after Chinese dams stop the annual flood surge.

well, i suppose it is easier to buy it than an outright invasion.

I'm not clear on the location. Is this from St 108 north to the bridge? Wonder if this has anything to do with the long rumoured redevelopment of the area west of there for the huge trade and commerce zone.

No. The Tonlie Sap is up near Siem Reap.

The Tonle Sap river, not lake you knucklehead. Did you even read the article? We’re talking about the stretch of riverfront that runs from the night market up to the Japanese bridge.Arget wrote:No. The Tonlie Sap is up near Siem Reap.
Typical that the reason for the decision is shrouded in secrecy. No doubt somewhere a bong thom has some get-rich scheme cooking on his birdbrain back burner. Of one thing you can be sure: the welfare of the Khmer people figures in nowhere.

And who is responsible for considering the welfare of the Khmer people?Typical that the reason for the decision is shrouded in secrecy. In a decision like this, would the Chinese government be responsible for considering what's best for the Khmer's or is the Cambodian government responsible for that?

The Cambodian government always considers it's people first. Above all else.AmericanSteve wrote:And who is responsible for considering the welfare of the Khmer people?Typical that the reason for the decision is shrouded in secrecy.
