Another barang bill skipper in SHV

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

If the owner thinks that he could try to use a fake passport to stay at another hotel, he should also think that maybe the accused used a fake passport to stay at his hotel.

seriously doubt anyone trying to scam room, meals has the know how or $$$ to obtain a passable fake passport.
Any one willing to let someone stay in their place months at a time with no payment is asking to be ripped off
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Canadian scammer STEPHEN LINTNER lives the dream by making friends and conning them. In this case, he was staying a long time in a guest house in Sihanoukville, it was Khmer New Year, and the guest house owners trusted him and treated him as a friend. He did a runner owing them $1500. This seems to be his MO, and according to information on social media, he has previously been deported from Thailand.

Canadian scammer STEPHEN LINDNER lives the dream in South East Asia by making friends and then conning them.
In this case, he was staying a long time in a guest house in Sihanoukville, it was Khmer New Year (banks closed), and because the guest house owners trusted him they let him run up a tab. He did a runner owing them $1500.
