Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

Swiss Couple JOEL DUC & ISABELLE COX Injured in Preah Vihear Motorbike Accident

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

Preah Vihear, Cambodia News: On April 16 at 3 pm, a Swiss couple, identified as 22 year old JOEL RUDOLF DUC, and 18 year old ISABELLE MARLIS COX, were injured in a motorbike accident in Preah Vihear. Both went to a clinic to get bandaged up.

They had both rented their own motorbikes and somehow managed to crash into each other, sending them both off their bikes and getting nasty road rash. Fortunately, they were only slightly injured and will likely make a speedy recovery before they get back to Switzerland.

It worked for me. Rode my first 110cc in Laos, then went on to a 250cc in Cambodia. Traveled all over India, Kashmir to Tamil Nadu with a bike. Never had an accident (yet).

When I got old enough (24) I took the A license in my home country in no time.

No kidding. If I had gone to my rugger coach with this and asked to be replaced; he would have given me a kick in the butt.
