Druggies snatch purse from American woman tourist in Phnom Penh
PHNOM PENH - 3:30pm, 11 April 2018. Two homeless druggies aged 30 and 20, snatched a handbag from 71 year old American tourist, SUZANNE GEHRING SCHNITTMAN. The two men approached the victim on a motorbike at the corner of Street 102 and National Road 13, Village 5, Sangkat Wat Phnom, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh.
The bag contained $20 and some reading glasses, and these items were returned to their owner by the police. The two thieves also tested positive for drugs and can expect to spend their New Year in the lock-up.

One of the smartest victims of a bag-snatching I've ever heard of. Her phone and important documents are likely in her hotel. She's 71, probably doesn't feel any great need to carry a phone around that's likely off-network here. I hope she's ok, she looks a bit upset.

Yes she's upset,,, thats a policeman steeling money from her bag . Photos dont lie.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Maybe she had 50 in her handbag
Re: Druggies snatch purse from American woman tourist in Phnom Penh
Yeah, it's great that things turned out well for her.
It must have been a long day and by the look on her face, the last thing she probably wanted to do was take the obligatory 37 'hand-over' photos for each and every copper's Facebook account.
The cop looks a bit perturbed too. He's probably thinking "Come on Madam, if you smile, I'll get more 'likes'."
