Phnom Penh: At 9:00 am on 12th April, the Anti-Narcotic Conspiracy Party holds a press conference on illegal drug trafficking production of more than 26 kilograms .
The detained suspects were identified as four Taiwanese nationals and two Cambodians. Lee Hong Yu, 2. Hsu Yao Feng, 3. The name stands for Bun Chhay and 4. Mr. Samkok Chheang.
The four suspects were arrested on April 7, 2018, at Angkor Street, Russey Keo district, Russey Keo district. Disposal of more than 26 kg of drugs, including ICE at 18,166.35 grams of heroin, 217.83 g, 8,883 grams of ketamine, and Other exhibits. Etc.

Phnom Penh: On April 12, the Anti-drug department cracked down on foreigners and Cambodians for drug trafficking and producing all sorts of drugs in Phnom Penh. The suspects arrested were 2 Taiwanese men, Lee Hong Yu and Hsu Yao Feng, and 2 Cambodians, Chhor Bunchay and Som Kokchheang.
The police confiscated 26 kgs of drugs in all - Ice 18,166.35 g, Heroin 217.83 g, ketamine 8,383.99 g and some other evidence.

UPDATE: Sentence Appeal Refused
Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): The Phnom Penh Municipal Court of Appeal on the morning of July 13, 2022 upheld the sentences of six defendants, three Chinese men (possibly of Taiwanese nationality) and three Cambodians, in connection with the transportation and trafficking of nearly 27kg at 3 different destinations in Phnom Penh in 2018.
On April 7, 2018, 3 Chinese and 3 Cambodian men were arrested and accused of trafficking over 27kgs of illegal substances at 3 locations.
- The first location was on Angkor street, Sangkat/Khan Russey Keo
- The second location was at house #122, street 2, Borey Camko City, Sangkat/Khan Russey Keo
- The third locaton was at house #112E2, street 173, Sangkat Toul Svay Prey 1, Khan Chamkar Moan
The suspects were charged with: Illegal transportation and trafficking of drugs under Article 40 of the Drug Control Law.The seized illegal substances were 18.166kgs of ICE, 217.83g of heroin, and 8.383kgs of ketamine which was a total of 26.768kgs.
The men all received sentences of 20 years to life in prison, but then appealed.
The suspects arrested were:
- Lee Hong Yi, a 38-year-old Chinese man who was sentenced to life in prison with a fine of 80 million riels.
- Xi Yangfong, a 40-year-old Chinese man,
- Chien Sun Hean, a 44-year-old Chinese man
- Som Kokchheang, a 26-year-old Cambodian man,sentenced to 28 years in prison and a fine of 40 million riel
- Prak Nhanh, a 37-year-old Cambodian man, sentenced to 28 years in prison and a fine of 40 million riels
- Chhor Bunchhay, a 28-year-old Cambodian man was sentenced to 20 years in prison with a fine of 40 million riels.
On 13 July 2022, the above sentences were upheld on appeal, by the Phnom Penh Municipal Court of Appeal.
