Cosmetic surgery in a Cambodian beauty salon can be a dangerous procedure. In this case a woman had her lips deformed by surgery, and now she has to wear a mask.

Phnom Penh: on April 05, an unidentified woman wanted to commit suicide by taking pills, after the failure of a lip surgery operation at Ketwadi Beauty Center in Phnom Penh.

The victim said that she really loved the idea of her lips as a heart shape, so she decided to go for surgery at Kewadi Beauty Center. She said that when she went for the procedure, the doctor didn't discuss any details with her, but just took her to do the surgery straight way.
One month later after the operation, her lips look worse than before. She went back to talk with the doctor at Ketwadi, but they denied any responsibility and sent her away. Then she went to another clinic, but they weren't able to reverse the botched operation.
The woman was very upset, so she decided to commit suicide by taking pills, but fortunately the police moved in to prevent it.
