Run a restaurant near Riverside

If you are looking for a business to buy in Cambodia, you've come to the right place! This is a section where owners can post their businesses for sale and where others in the community can ask questions about starting a business here. Foreigners can own 100% of a business here in Cambodia, and it's a pretty simple process to buy or sell, whether it's a bar, restaurant, hotel, or anything else. Have questions about what paperwork is needed for your company? Ask away. Curious if the expat bar on Street 136 selling for $100,000 is a good deal? Start a discussion on CEO and we'll let you know what we think.

We've done it a couple of months. But life happened, and that chef is no longer around (ex-gf) - so we didn't expand beyond break-even. I believe we could have, though.
I would not consider the tight backpackers the main target group, either. They're around, and may or may not buy something, but you'd need to attract someone else.

selling food but not drinks, not selling coffee but coffee addons, not paying rent for first few months but after, using your staffs but only in the initial phase, this is getting complicated than CDF swaps πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

No! It sounds more like pay to work.

Using my staff as long as they are enough - but extra hirings would be another thing :-)
I don't want it to be complicated, so if someone is interested in reality talks, we'd probably be able to reduce complexity a lot. We want the kitchen to work well :-)

l would suggest u to let the prospect tenant take over all F&B operations, or else i dont think anyone would want to take up on ur offer

p.s. dun complicate staff issues let tenant hire their own crew, its not good to mix for many reasons

p.s.s. dun mix electric bill either

Sad you feel that way. We actually think this is a pretty good offer for the right person - start your dream kitchen without initial investments and a low rent (including electricity) compared to the location.

Drinks alone give way more profit than 550 dollars a month as it is, though...

then charge a higher rental for all F&B operations, or else do it all urself instead, just find chef n start training other chefs, if main chef start playing punk, fire his ass n promote other chef

So in other words you want to keep the easy to run profit-making part of the business for yourself, and palm off the loss-making part that requires the work to someone else. You'd have to be a complete mug to contomplate this proposition for more than about 3 seconds.

example, a big hotel 90% of the time would want to run their own restaurants for various reasons but not limited to below

1 in house brekkie
2 in house promo
3 x selling
4 room service
5 better control
6 marketing, branding etc e.g. velkomenn cld be known for the best swedish meatball in pp
and so on....
