Ever wonder why Thailand is rated so dangerous for motor accidents
Re: Ever wonder why Thailand is rated so dangerous for motor accidents
I drive in Thailand on a daily basis, drivers really have to watch out for motorcyclists because very often motorcyclists like to beat the red light or even cross the red light after stopping. Key thing for drivers is, drive slow.

As do taxi drivers , tuk tuks....because very often motorcyclists like to beat the red light or even cross the red light after stopping.
For me, having driven easily over 300,000 kms in the country, is to drive and be aware that everything out there is a potential threat and very few know what the fuck they are doing, other than trying to get from A to B in the quickest time..
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST
