Ever wonder why Thailand is rated so dangerous for motor accidents

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

I drive in Thailand on a daily basis, drivers really have to watch out for motorcyclists because very often motorcyclists like to beat the red light or even cross the red light after stopping. Key thing for drivers is, drive slow.

As do taxi drivers , tuk tuks

For me, having driven easily over 300,000 kms in the country, is to drive and be aware that everything out there is a potential threat and very few know what the fuck they are doing, other than trying to get from A to B in the quickest time.. :beer3:
