This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. The big 4

I it safe to say that the top 4 expat choices are 1 of Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and then Battambang, in that order? Or is one of these in contest with Kampot/Kep?

Anyhow, what is the best and the worst of each of these, and why should you choose one over the other as a place to live?

Money: Phnom Penh, SR, Sinville, Kampot, Koh Kong Battambang

Attractions: PP, Sinville, Kampot, SR, Koh Kong, Battambang

Basically, Battambang is a shithole...I think I would even consider Sinville at present (or maybe even Syria/Yemen) before Battambang

Kampong Cham, Prey Veng, Svay Rieng, Takeo, Takhmao...all nicer towns than Battambang in every respect

*Lived there for 3 months, for my sins. Hell holds no horrors for me. :beer3:

one of the nicest places to just sit back and enjoy life in the slow lane in Cambodia
