about the only work is teaching English.
you probably need a tefl certification, and locals are very racist, so being white helps.
Disagree fully, their are jobs for qualified foreigners who actually have real degrees and are skilled in certain sectors, for the average joe :stir: ,English is always the only option,if your a skilled proffessional in let’s say ,banking, mining, architecture, hotel management etc their are options ,I find it funny that you can only Percieve the world as you know it.
Does the OP come across as a skilled professional to you? Or as someone chasing the 'living the life' dream and being 10-20 years late?

OP, Cambodia is not what it used to be. While salaries are still low, prices go up everywhere. Making enough money will be a serious problem, unless you have a great plan or bring your own funds / income from abroad or you have serious skills and experience in certain fields. Being able to speak American / English doesn't count.
Is being able to speak Chinese counts in Cambodia now ?

Sure.... You will be so different from the rest....

Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.
