Health Ministry warns of dangerous sex products

The Ministry of Health has asked the public not to use or distribute the online male sexual improvement products Modern Love and Maka, which can cause serious health effects and have yet to be registered or checked by the ministry.

According to the announcement by the ministry, which was published on Tuesday as well as last week, an illegal company is advertising on Facebook about these products.

Modern Love, imported from Thailand, and Maka, imported from the United States, have not been registered or monitored, and have not been given ministry permission to import or advertise, it said.

The ministry added that the online advertisements for these products were misleading in regards to benefits to kidney and prostate health as well as sexual prowess.

The ministry also warned of taking legal action against companies or individuals importing and distributing male sexual improvement products, and imposing strict measures to prevent their sale.

The department has in the past also called on the public to avoid the use of male sexual improvement medicine and candy, including King Man, MaBido, Super Storm Vita M, Horny Goat Weed, Blue Rock and Hamer.
It stated that the Ministry of Health had not yet recognised the quality of those drugs, which were illegal.
