New concrete on top of tank and seems problem solved. (how long for don't know)
Talking to a bar manager near the Pier and the businesses in area each put up some dollars to clean the beach up in the Pier area around the rocks. Actually a big improvement today. They bar / restaurants in this area are actually very good. Some great staff and some excellent food on offer.
Has any one surveyed the bar owners in Pub Street as to their relocation plans. Last l heard Kampot, Phnom Penh and Ko Kong were on the radar.
Not one that l heard about seemed interested in staying in Sihanoukville.
Let the Chinese pay double rent in Sihanoukville and see how long they can last not making a profit. Maybe more than a few Khmer landlords may learn that
this 'gold rush' is problematic.
Don't expect the Barang to rush back to fill the empty shops . They have long memories!!!
