PR I can apply for a visa Pre travel that allows 2 months in Thailand. Or I can just get onwards flight within 30 days allowance.

I guess I will loak at options.

Cheers :good:

sure, and extend that for 30 days in Thailand for 1,900 baht...
You can also legitimately say that you are planning to travel overland by bus.
nope, A flight or train ticket out only satisfy's the requested POOT ( proof of onward travel) if u request the supervisor u can argue with him

Whenever I fly back to Cambodia from Europe they always check for a visa in my passport, even though I could apply for a visa on arrival. Airlines are very tight about having the correct documents these days.
You will be granted 30 days on arrival but have a ticket for 6 months. This means you have no documentary proof you can stay at your destination for the duration of your ticket. The airline could deny you for that reason. An onward flight with a traceable booking number will increase your chances. A printout of a Giant Ibis busticket probably won't be accepted as proof.

You could also contact he airline and ask for their policy.

OP, every time I check in for a longhaul flight to BKK with the return more than 30 days hence, I am asked how long I will stay in Thailand. I usually tell them one day. On occasions I have been asked to show my onward ticket.I I have heard of cases where passengers were obliged to buy an onward ticket before being allowed to check in.If you are posting on this forum presumably you want to travel to Cambodia.
I have never been asked for proof of onward travel at immigration in BKK.
