Have I got this right, this is the perp ?
And this is the victim ?
There hasn't been much said about the victim of the accident - and not any hospital photos. You would have thought there would be some photos of him and his accident wounds. Thats standard Khmer news reporting. Just wondering why so little is said.
Maybe the family don't talk to reporters. Still, it's kind of important to know what happened to the victim, given the reaction to the accident.

It looked like the guy in the blue/yellow shirt with the tactical-style belt smacked him a few times and then grabs a rock that's just whacked the driver in the head and whacks him in the arm/head with it. Smacking someone around is one thing but this was particularly brutal.

Can anyone figure out the exact location? I can't find it on street view but that's from 2013 anyway. There's a lot of meth in that neighborhood near Preah Kossomak Hospital.
Edit, I just figured out it's the junction of 156 and 265.

its shocking though as the picture where the accident took place is at 260 3.4km away, no wonder he had such a huge mob chasing him on their bikes!!

I could see the cops doing something about the mob as this is a professor someone important, not some average Joe.

Like watching animals to be honest, bloodthirsty vigilantes looking to seriously injure & kill people
