How soon can you get second tourist visa?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. How soon can you get second tourist visa?

Post by dron »

A friend of mine came to visit on a one month tourist visa. A week later he went to Vietnam. Now he wants to come back here.

I realize his tourist visa is single entry and thus of no use, but will they issue a new tourist visa at Bavet even though he already has one in his passport that doesn't expire until March 22?

Thanks. I figured that. But say you have a tourist visa that starts on March 1 and ends March 30. But you leave on March 7. They don't care if you come back on March 9 and get another visa even though the other hasn't expired?

Just want to make sure, or be as sure as is possible here.

It's a Single entry visa, as soon as you exit the country it is cancelled (therefore it is considered expired)...upon next re-entry there will be absolutely no issue in purchasing a new VOA...trust me.
