The latest technique in farang begpacking...

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

Looking at the blonde lady I would not mind buying all her flags and a hearing aid too. :D Too good looking for that jig. Would fit much better as my office assistant.
Unfortunately it is probably just some NGO/volunteer rise money and awareness project.

Two (poor?) Japanese students were detained by Thai police on February 26 2018 for begging.

So are we to assume that they previously begged in Cambodia, and just brought their Khmer cardboard to Thailand later?

Looks like it.

"The police of the Aranyaprathet Police Department (of Sa Kaeo) saw two tourists at the outer compound of the Sri Aranyothai Kindergarten," the regional police wrote on the social network. They are carrying signs that say "no money," "Bangkok," "Sa Kaeo,".
Police later found that they wanted to travel from Sa Kaeo to Bangkok. But without money, they decided to stand for a ride, and they were more than likely to ask for money from people passing by.

The Japanese have been suspected of having done so in the country [refers to Cambodia presumably], because they have seen a Khmer script written on a pad.
Police said that the two Japanese nationals were temporarily relocated to the Aranyaprathet police station and contacted the public car to send them to Bangkok.
