Sports Betting Scams

A "great algorithm" should provide for profits in sports betting, promised a scam group from Sundern. They captured 1.2 million euros.

"Permanently closed" is what you get when you google the Sunderner company eVision Team Networking GmbH yesterday. Her alleged CEO has now been expelled from Cambodia after a 19-month escape. Since Friday sits the man, who comes from Lower Saxony, in custody, which has arranged a Frankfurt magistrate. In about two months, the Arnsberger prosecutor's office then want to bring charges.

Built snowball system
It will then be amazing things: The 51-year-old, the prosecutor Thomas Poggel considers the de facto CEO of the company, and a now 61-year-old man from Sundern, who was arrested in early July 2016 and is now released with some accomplices have built a kind of snowball system. From now 357 people were looted about 1.2 million euros, of which about half of the money was transferred to accounts abroad.

When the construct flew open in the summer of 2016, the company's managing director was arrested in Sundern, where company rooms and a private house were also searched. The alleged mastermind of the frauds but settled abroad. The prosecutor Arnsberg then obtained an international arrest warrant against him. Later, the Lower Saxony was tracked down in Cambodia, where he had not set off without a reason. There he did not live inconspicuously, as the prosecutor judged after first photos from the Far East.

Sports Betting as an incentive
The business model of the two men, advertised on Internet sites and on Youtube channels, but it sat mainly on greed and stupidity of the now injured: Investors were promised that the company's sports betting would be placed so that after 14 weeks one Return of 48 percent said: "The payout was previously probably solely from the funds paid by new investors," reported the investigators of the Criminal Investigation Department in Dortmund in early July 2016.

To what extent the company address in a district of Sundern in connection with it, still needs to be clarified: "Ultimately, everything was handled online and through various accounts, more was not necessary," said prosecutor Poggel. And that could be done from everywhere. Sports bets themselves were apparently not set. Investors were fooled that a "great algorithm" of the computer place these bets so that you get paid more and more than you have paid. A promise that drew. The investigations are largely completed. The remaining company assets were seized in 2016, according to a press release from July 2016.

Any injured investors are requested to contact us
at the public prosecutor Arnsberg, Eichholzstraße 10, 59821 Arnsberg
specifying the reference number 212 Js 45/16
Contact also via the police Dortmund under the contact address [email protected].

As with the initial reports on Schmalohr's arrest and subsequent deportation, there's surprisingly little news about his business interests, the announced 'big eVision investors event' in April which was scheduled to be held in Phnom Penh, his other dealings in the Kingdom of Wonder, the thing about the boys he 'rescued', other background stories, maybe even background checks on the Khmer manager that now all of a sudden has taken over his 'business', and probably some other news that surrounds this supposedly known (at least in Germany) fraudster in Cambodia.

Is it the state of journalism here (yes, that's targeted at you Phnom Penh Post) or is it something else that prevents more news stories coming out?

Like I tried to allude to earlier, the English language press is very much caught up in current mores. While I abhor any abuse of minors, it seems that any foreign man who is even suspected of having relations with a younger local woman is immediately slammed, gays who act similarly are given the benefit of the doubt. This isn't always the case, a certain Jason Baumbach was arrested years back for keeping an underage (13 year old) girl locked up in his house for sado-masochist shit, but because he was best friends with one of the Phnom Penh Post's writers they completely blanked the story.

http://www.mlive.com/news/flint/index.s ... aumba.html

All this was particularly obvious when Kenneth Drew Wilcox, a notoriously violent conman and petty criminal was accused of abusing his teenage boyfriend a few years back. There was a plethora of evidence that he had been doing so, going as far as using stun guns and physically assaulting teenage students he was having sexual relations with.
He convinced so many women here that he was a kosher psychologist that he had a whole team of western women backing him up, even while he was seriously harassing and threatening other women. One of these women was a former poster here, and he tried his best to destroy her reputation, with the help of all these western ditzes. The guy was a psychotic and extremely violent and dangerous Walter Mitty character. He was having sex with his teenage students. Yet he was backed up and supported by all these dumb fucking bitches. He was deported, and continued his nasty ways back in the USA. He eventually "married" a young Khmer man in the US. Within a few months he was beating the shit out of his young male husband, and retraining orders were put in place. He was a lying, scheming, violent and extremely nasty and manipulative individual, but all these fag-hags fell for his bullshit.

Here's the short story. I met him a few times and immediately flagged him as a completely dodgy fraud, Anyone who stuck up for him should be ashamed of themselves.
Silence, exile, and cunning.
