Chasing 3- or 4-type worming tablets for Lord Boofic the Grand (Burmese cat), does anyone know a source of legitimate cat tablets in PP please?

Agrovet is pricey, but a good solid vet.

^ cheers, have heard that, so might just have to bite the $$ bullet and get on with it. Wretched cat (we both love him) has cost us dearly over the years, a few more pesos on the beast won't be anything out of the ordinary.

Going to Agrovet is probably the best advice, but FYI and a cheaper option you could try asking for Drontal at any pharmacy. Drontal is a broad spectrum dewormer tablet for cats and kittens. Each tablet contains 18.2 mg praziquantel and 72.6 mg pyrantel base as pyrantel pamoate and will remove Tapeworms (Dipylidium caninum, Taenia taeniaeformis), Hookworms (Ancylostoma tubaeforme), and Large Roundworms (Toxocara cati) in cats and kittens.

Dosage

Body Weight* (lbs.) 2-3___ 4-8___ 9-12___13-16

Number of Tablets 1/2_____ 1___1 1/2 ___2

Adverse reactions - In some cats transient ataxia can occur which is loss of balance and may last up to 24hrs

Thanks for that.

Related, ataxia in cats is as funny as it gets. You can induce it by tying a piece of string firmly around the cat's middle, but (preferably) without causing pain.

Don't do this on a high balcony.
