This story has still been going kinda viral on social media for over a day straight now. And still we don't even know who they are our their nationalities.

Until you get in, then the drugs turn to detergent, the young girls turn into old women and the ladboys are nowhere to be found.

Looks like they had an argument over the fare more than ladyboys. The two tourists must have got fed up with the guy changing the agreed price and not negotiating, and tried to just walk away.Maybe the tuk tuk driver got violent and grabbed at the drunk guys shirt and ripped it. I expect he turned around and gave him a slap. Who knows?
I do think there is a 99% likelihood of it being over money as opposed to ladyboys though.
I think the tuk tuk driver was trying to shame them. Which is NOT COOL.

You are talking about some of the drivers who ply their trade around the riverside and 136/ 104/ 51. That's a tiny part of the city. The vast majority of tuk tuk drivers work outside those areas and wouldn't know about or encourage any of those things. The worst they'd do is overcharge you. If you can't speak even rudimentary Khmer or where you are going there's fuck all chance you'll get any of those things through them.
