I often wonder what evidence they found. Did they just name guys to "find a culprit" or was this the culmination of a lengthy investigation and evidence from nearby cameras and so on.

A light sentence for both an armed robbery and a murder.

Two armed Chinese arrested with 59handgun are suspects in security guard murder
Phnom Penh: On February 11, at 1 am Por Sen Chey, criminal police officers arrested two Chinese men on a motorbike who were driving along Russian Boulevard to Borey New Town. When the police stopped the criminal suspects, they pulled out a K59 gun and attempted to escape, but they were followed and captured by police and taken to Por Sen Chey police station.
After questioning the suspects for some time, at 10am the following day, police raided the criminals' residence at Borey New Town, Khan Por Sen Chey, Phnom Penh, where a further nine Chinese men and two women were taken into custody for questioning.
The two principal suspects were identified as Dai Xun, 30, who has a Chinese passport No. EA-******, and Pu Yijiang, also aged 30, who has no passport. They were arrested on suspicion of involvement in the murder of a Cambodian security guard during an armed robbery which took place on 6 November 2016. The robbery haul from a Chinese bookshop was estimated at $500-600.
Following the holdup, the criminals shot and killed a security guard from a neighboring building site, before making their escape into a forest in nearby Choam Chao, where they evaded police.
One man was subsequently captured, and two men were sentenced in September 2017 to 15 years jail for armed robbery and murder; one in absentia.
Following the crime, Cambodian police have been hunting a Chinese man with distinctive tattoos. The man was stopped by police as suspicious on the night of 10 February 2018, and when he threatened police with his pistol, their suspicions were confirmed.
Police investigation into the Chinese criminal gang arrested at Borey New Town continues.

Unless you play loud music or otherwise annoy said VIp, in which case a modern suppressed machine gun will quickly eradicate the problem.Barang_doa_slae wrote: ↑Mon Nov 07, 2016 10:21 pm Best to live next to a big CPP political figure.
