At least it's marketed as a burger only to go back to your hotel, remove the packaging and find out it's a hotdog...104 wrote:Fur burger at Wat Phnom $5 happy hour

Went to Lonestar the other day. I should have tried the chili cheese burger but I wanted a traditional burger. I would rate their cheese burger as fair. It was large. but the bun was not toasted and the bun turned into mush very quickly. The meat part was generous but it had no fat in the hamburger so the patty just fell apart. It was the kind of hamburger that is next to impossible to pick up without having a mess everywhere. Onion rings were decent. I like Lonestar and have been there many times I just won't order the burgers except maybe the chili cheese burger. You don't pick them up. Hamburgers in Cambodia are tricky.

Picooie,
Thanks for the feedback. The bun should have been toasted, and we do add fat to our ground beef. I will contact the staff and see where we dropped the ball. We are breaking in a couple of new staff in the kitchen............and I suspect one them might have been involved.

Lucky's had some soon to be expired thai/german smoked bacon for half off so I chopped it along with some cambodian beef and the burgers were excellant.
