3 Barangs in Wifebeaters Get Motorcycle Confiscated in Phnom Penh for No Helmets & Wrong Way

Breaking news from Cambodia can be found here. CEO often finds Khmer news and translates it into English for our readers if it is interesting to expats, locals, Cambodians living abroad and anyone who wants to stay informed of the latest local and international news stories about Cambodia and our neighbors in South East Asia. There are many sources for Khmer news articles and they can all be found here in one place. Most of the media comes out of Phnom Penh, Siem Reap or Sihanoukville, but we cover national Cambodian news from all provinces.

You can go straight through on Sothearos either way and you can turn left off of Sianhouk but you cannot turn left off of Sumarit
Ok, that makes sense. So it's probably wrong. Lol. I just realised that the other side of Shnk there is called Suramarit.

Just a little bit before that. Be nice if they added a road marking or something.

Which way are you supposed to go?

There is a very clearly displayed no left turn sign on Sihanouk at that point. if you are on sihanouk coming west from diamond island you have to go up to the independence monument, round the roundabout and back. Often in phnom penh these signs are hidden behind trees, but this one slaps you in the face
Can you mark that no left turn sign for me? I can't see it.

it was here I think. about 3 weeks ago when a policeman outside super duper tried to stop me for the same thing  I will check it tomorrow

The back streets run faster and there are no coppers, usually! :beer3:
