Re: Malaysian Guy with Tattoos Arrested
I imagine the Malaysian embassy is even less helpful than the Brit embassy, if that's possible.*

Malaysian awaits deportation
1 Feburary 2018 06:50am
The investigation chief of the Interior Ministry’s immigration department has said a 49-year-old Malaysian man arrested on Monday is being detained awaiting deportation to his country.
Lieutenant General Uk Heisela yesterday identified the suspect as Edmund Melville Felix.
He said Mr Felix was arrested after he caused a disturbance at the Malaysian embassy in Phnom Penh and was found to have no passport or legal documents to stay in Cambodia.
“He did not have a passport or money to buy a ticket to travel back to his country,” Lt Gen Heisela said. “He is still being detained at our immigration department.”
He added that Mr Felix would be deported once the Malaysian embassy had arranged flights home on his behalf.
[Malaysian Embassy stated] “Mr Felix also had a brush with the local authorities last year and the embassy already assisted in the process of sending him back to Malaysia. He is what you might say, a familiar figure to us,” .

Man arrested for causing trouble at the Malaysian Embassy in Cambodia
4 February 2018
PETALING JAYA: A 49-year-old Malaysian man allegedly living in disrepute in Cambodia is awaiting deportation after being arrested by Cambodian police for causing a commotion at the Malaysian Embassy in Phnom Penh last week.
It is believed that the man had gone to the embassy to seek a replacement for his lost passport.
According to Cambodian news portal Khmer Times, Cambodian police Lieutenant General Uk Heisela said the man was held for causing a disturbance at the embassy and not possessing a passport or travel documents.
The man also did not have money to purchase a plane ticket to Malaysia and is currently being detained at the immigration department.
Heisela said the Malaysian embassy is making arrangements for a flight to deport the man.
According to the news portal, the Malaysian embassy in a statement said the man was unruly and had accused its staff of "failing to help him".
It also said that in the case of Mr Felix, police had to be called because his behaviour posed a threat to the safety of the embassy and staff.
Checks showed that the man is believed to specialise in the field of banking, business and finance.
He was also apparently the chief executive officer of two companies and has vast experience in developing security and safety features for financial and banking services.
In an online forum created for expatriates in Cambodia, a thread discusses the man who is said to be a familiar figure often spotted in the streets of Phnom Penh.
There were discussions of how the man ran into trouble with the security guards of business outlets and fled restaurants without paying for his meal.

It's always nice to know that not only are the things we discuss on CEO of interest to us on here, but also interesting and newsworthy to the rest of the world.
