For Rent. Stumbling distance of Sharkey’s and The Irish Place

Looking for an apartment to rent in Phnom Penh? We have you covered. This is a good starting point for expats who are in the process of moving to Cambodia to live and work. Finding a villa, condo, flat, or borey to stay in when you arrive is probably one of your top priorities. Check out our listings from the community! And if you have a house or apartment for rent, you're welcome to list it here for free. Kampot, Siem Reap, Battambang, Sihanoukville, and other provinces around Cambodia also have places to rent, but you might have better luck finding them on foot after you arrive, as the largest number of listings are in the capital city of Phnom Penh.

For Rent. Stumbling distance of Sharkey’s and The Irish Place

Post by MovingOut »

Secure apartment with balcony and bath to rent. Ideal for anyone wanting to be near all the Riverside, St 172, Pasteur and st 104 activity. $400 a month

The apartment is on the third floor. It is up 6 flights of stairs though so no good for a person with bad knees or a poor ticker.
There’s a balcony, very very popular food sellers downstairs, and a quiet bedroom.

Bedroom is at the back of the building so no street noise. There is a double bed, a/c wardrobe, bedside tables and tv with cable.

Bathroom has a shower, bath and washing machine.

Kitchen, dining area and sitting room are open plan. Lounge has double height ceilings with big windows. Lots of light coming in. There is a fridege with freezer and a microwave in the kitchen. Also two gas rings. The breakfast bar is high and there are four bar stools.

there is a dining table with four chairs.plus one of those common L-shaped couches, a coffee table and another a/c. There is a decent sized tv on the wall. Cable TV is currently provided. Internet would need to be installed.

There is a mezannine floor. It is open but could easily have some privacy added to it if you hung a curtain. It is a big area and has a wardrobe as well. The ceiling is low so suitable for children or short people about 5’6 or so.

The balcony has a couple of big plant pots on it, there is room to sit out with a cup of tea or a beer.

The landlady is great.

Electricity is at local rate. With a/c on frequently the bill is about $90. Typically I have been paying less than $30.

Water for one person has been about $2 per month.

Available to move in next weekend.

I will answer questions here or on SMS.
